Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media and Community Manager who will play a critical role in amplifying our brand presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, and more. You will be responsible for fostering an engaged community, creating engaging content, managing influencer relationships, and working cross-functionally to drive brand objectives. Demonstrating success in this role offers a clear path and opportunity for career advancement and increased responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy and Execution: Develop social media strategic roadmaps, and plans that are creative to yield positive results. This will enhance brand visibility by utilizing KPI and audience data analysis to optimize campaign effectiveness.

  • Content Creation and Social Media Management: Produce high-quality content to support marketing initiatives, develop social media content calendars, and strategize for organic engagement and influencer collaborations.

  • Community Management: Grow and nurture Capital City's community across social media platforms, responding promptly to comments, direct messages, and mentions to keep engagement active. Monitor and engage with user-generated content (UGC), ensuring a positive, on-brand representation.

  • Influencer Management: Manage paid influencer partnerships, from outreach to contracts, briefings, and performance tracking. Build and maintain relationships with influencers, agents, and key industry professionals across social channels.

  • Social Media Campaigns and Execution: Spearhead innovative social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility and engage target demographics, leading to measurable increases in customer engagement and brand loyalty.

  • Sales and Partnership Development: Create proposals to leadership that will enhance current sales plans and establish strategic partnerships, along with marketing-driven campaigns and event promotion strategies aligned with sales objectives.

  • Quarterly Strategy Adaptation: Regularly refine social media strategies to stay ahead of market trends in the CPG and meet quarterly business objectives, ensuring agility and strategic foresight in campaign management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising or consistent experience field.
  • 7+ years in social media management or a similar role with a strong track record of driving growth and engagement.
  • Sharp, snappy writing skills that align with Capital City's playful and engaging brand voice.
  • Creativity and proficiency in design and video editing tools for creating visually compelling content.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team and VP of Strategic Partnership, attention to detail, and effective communicator to implement strategies.
